A strange mix-up led to a chaotic check-in that overshadowed my stay.

Just a solid selection for a weekend rest in Houston with exceptional value. The room was decent, which was a pleasant surprise. Avoid the pool area, it's not well maintained.

The kids loved the spacious suite with two queen beds, and we appreciated that there was a Starbucks just steps away. It made mornings much easier, especially since our hotel's coffee was pretty weak. Plus, the free breakfast included waffles!

In my kids’ opinion, the pool area could use a major cleanup. It really looked neglected and there weren't enough chairs for everyone, which made it tough for us to relax.

My one-night stay was a treat! Military discount was honored, and it was just a hop to a lovely seafood joint and Starbucks. Room was a comfy King Suite that made me feel right at home.

But the breakfast timing? Who's up at 6 AM for that?
